power gamer

A gamer who learnes the rules of a game inside and out to perfection in order to become the best at that game. In games such as D&D a power gamer might sacrifice role-playing in favor of more power for his character, although most do not. Power gamers often make the game less fun for the rest of the playing group for the reason that their characters usually become far more powerful then all other characters in play.
Power gamers are often wrongly known as munchkins. A munchkin gains power by cheating while a power gamer gains power by knowing and using the rules of the game to his advantage.

Wow, that damn power gamer's character is way too strong for his level. That's just not fair.

The practice of dropping a #GamerGate mention into a totally unrelated article in an attempt to drive clicks and controversy. Commonly used by disreputable clickbait sites like Buzzfeed, Kotaku & The Guardian, especially those with SJW leanings.

Gamer Pride Month

Gamer Pride Month is a month to celebrate the most oppressed group, Gamers. Society oppresses gamers every day, we deserve time to celebrate who we are. The exact month is undecided as of July 1st, 2019, however small groups of gamers have set their own months out for gamer pride such as July and November.

The reasons i like November for Gamer Pride is the following:
Weather is at the optimal time to have an excuse to stay inside, as it’s cold, so no bright sunny days, yet just too warm for snow more often than not.

“Gamer Pride Month should be in july”
“No it needs to be in november”
“Why can’t it just be june?”
“It has to be december!”
“Why are we having this argument again?”

Examples of Gamer Excuses include:

Al: That's because this controller is broken!

Gamer's Foot

Sitting/lying down for weeks at a time playing video games, preventing the bottom of your foot from naturally shedding it's skin. When you finally get up to do something (go back to work/school, start playing sports, start going for walks, etc.), the skin from the bottom of your foot peels off as if you were peeling dried glue from your hand. Usually comes off in large sections, until the whole foot, including the toes, have been shedded of their old skin.

Guy 1: EW! What's wrong with the bottom of your foot? Did you put glue on it just so you could peel it off?
Guy 2: Nah man! I just got a case of gamer's foot!
