This type of people can be found both inside and outside of the internet, but most reside on Twitter.

Twitter Sleuth

A stalker on Twitter who goes out of their way to dig up anything on someone so they can cancel and harass them over social media with a mob of fellow Twitter Sleuths and degenerates. As referenced prior, Twitter Sleuths are the backbone of cancel culture. Without them, Cancel Culture wouldn't exist.

The Twitter Sleuth dug up a 10 year old message on a celebrity's social media account where they said "ur mom gay lol" and they have used this as evidence to start an online flame war for homophobia and sexism.

Twitter Response

When somebody provides a valid constructive criticism against something, wether generally speaking or in an argument, and then the other party, either who the criticism was directed towards or somebody who affiliates themselves with the critiqued party, responds to the criticism with a response which completely disregards everything the critic said and tries to offend and / or shut up the critic.

"When he said 'Ok but who asked?', that was such a Twitter Response."

When someone has delved into the recesses of twitter and start becoming infected with the obligatory "Twitter brain" where they make hypocritical or geopolitical statements with little to no grounding.
