When you come home from work or after any strenuous activity and begin to doze off in your chair. The word comes from how older people (mainly middle aged men) fall asleep in their lazy-boy with a beer in hand (boomer coma does not have to do with alcohol).

Points towards someone who has trouble with their sleeping schedule or was exhausted that day and went to sleep for more-or-less a day or more.

I was so tired from work and had a bedroom coma yesterday. Eventually I woke up at 6 P.M. My sleep schedule is fucked, man.

When you spend so long sitting in one spot playing a video game uninterrupted that you are completely immersed in the game and entirely numb to and dissociated from the world around you.

Josh: I just spent 6 hours straight playing Minecraft, and then, when I had to get up to go to dinner, I was so disoriented. I couldn't even remember what day it was.

Alex: Wow man, you must have been in a serious gaming coma.
