Kappa Alpha Theta

A sorority for women that is usually a bunch of stuck up women. They tend to think they are better than everyone else and say things about their pledges such as "You aren't a Theta.....yet", used in reference to how much a pledge changes before and after initiation. After initiation they will start to look down their nose at you and become all around rude.

True incident: the Kappa Alpha Theta's at Northwestern University once called out one of their sisters who had recently started dating a black man by putting on a sign on her door that said "TNT: That's not Theta" with a stick of dynamite on it.

alpha chick

A female that typically falls into the leadership roll among other females. Much like a pecking order for social cliques, when two "alpha chicks" come into social contact, there is some aggressive posturing until one "alpha chick" reins leader. The loser "alpha chick" will then be ostracized from the social clique.

Johnna and Laura were both alpha chicks, but then they attempted to become friends, Johnna's will proved to be stronger and Laura was ostracized from the group.
