However, in modern times this is not necessary, we prefer a more symbolic payment, of coins, representing beads and, bills or dollars representing Blankets.

Money, such as coins and bills, is a highly symbolic of Beads & Blankets, and a most honorable proposition.

“Star Wars fans believe their creator's have destroyed their brand!” Well, that is a blanket statement, just because a show or movie doesn’t make everyone happy it is very manipulative to speak on behalf of everyone else.
