A word used to express a sense of impact, usually in a negative and relatable way.

The word originates from the game "Roblox", a commonly known game amongst 6-12 year olds. The sound is played after dying in the game and was later made into a meme as something impacting you so much that you die. The word also made a comeback after having its runtime in late 2017-18 as a word for suicide or to refer to death. This version of oof did not last long.
