Prank Rider

Any passenger for either Uber or Lyft who makes a ride request, sees that you are either stopped at a light or stuck in traffic, and once they see you get close to their pickup location, they cancel the ride.

I dropped off a passenger at The Venetian, and just as I was leaving, I get a request to go back. The Prank Rider canceled on me once I made the U-Turn in rush hour traffic. What an asshole.

Uber ride of shame

After a girl hooks up with a guy and wakes up at his place the next morning, rather than walking home wearing the same clothes she had on the prior evening (the classic "walk of shame"), she can now order an Uber or another ride share app on her phone and is driven back to her dorm building.

Sunday morning at the dorm building:
Annie: Did you see your roommate Julie get out of the backseat of a Toyota Corolla sedan this morning? What was that all about?
Jessica: Yeah, Julie was hooking up with Brad last night - they were really going at it and went up to his room. She didn't come home last night . So this morning she made the Uber ride of shame.
