A term used to refer to a person who feels a need to be in control of all aspects of his or her surroundings. Or, in other words, an anal retentive person "can't let go of shit."

My anal retentive parents won't let me leave the house without leaving them with an address, name, and phone number for my destination.

Resentment 

When you feel upset & fell that someone did you dirty. Usually when you feel this way you haven't & don't plan on telling them that you think they were unfair to you in some way.

I'm feeling resentment towards Jason because he didn't get me a Christmas gift but I got him 2 gifts. He said "sorry" & I said "it's all good. It's the thought that counts".

Relentless Optimist 

A term that employs irrational joy and hope in near dire situations despite all definable logic. Usually those employing such feelings find that situations work out in the end by twisting their logic to fit their needs.

Usually those who are a Relentless Optimist, are stubborn, high energy, positive, and every so often annoying, but always eager to keep going and do what they feel is the right thing.

Despite not getting into NYU, the Relentless Optimist believed that he would go where was right for him.

rinse, repeat 

A phrase borrowed from instructions commonly found on bottles of shampoo and hair conditioner. It is used to indicate that a certain pattern of behaviour will, inevitably, occur again - usually despite furious claims that it won't.
This phrase is particularly applicable to people in troubled relationships.

Once again, after three months of dating, Noodle has frightened off her latest man. Now she's dating someone else. Rinse, repeat.

A New York State exam. There are Earth science, biology, and chemistry regents, math sequential A and B regents, english regents, F-Language regents, Global/American History regents, and God-knows-what-else regents.

I've taken Bio, Global, and Earth science and they were easier than the teachers made it seem.
