n. portmanteau of podcast and dedication. Reminiscent of the days of terrestrial radio shows that allowed people call or write in to dedicate a song to a friend or significant other - in the digital age of on-demand media, a podication is asking a podcast to dedicate the episode to someone or something one wishes to honor.
Host: Here's an email from one of our loyal listeners. They write 'Dear Geoff and Annabel, can I get a podication for my best friend Adrian. It has been months since we have gone out for drinks, and I just want them to know I am thinking of them'.

photocation

The use of photos or videos for education; education through taking and sharing photos or videos. Verb form: photocate-to take photos or videos for education purposes. Adjective form: photocational-describes something that produces educational value as a photo/video or possessing properties of a photo/video thereof.
This word was coined by a group of surgeons. A picture is worth more than 1000 words, and this is particularly relevant to demonstrating complex techniques and steps in surgery, where a simple description cannot capture all of the nuances.
Specifically, this word was coined by a group of orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons, who wouldn't mind the word used and spelled as "fotocation" (verb: fotocate, adjective: fotocational) as well.
She is the photocation queen, where her pictures make it feel like you were there on the trip with her.
Hey, if you're free, can you help us with photocating our dance sequence so those who missed practice can catch up on it later?
The lighting, angle and framing have to be optimized for this picture to be photocational.
