Kompani

A fake or scam company that targets college students by offering “industry-level internships” in exchange for money, usually backed by meaningless certificates and false name-dropping of big tech companies like Adobe or Oracle.

These companies promise “hands-on experience” and “placement assistance” but deliver pre-recorded videos, copied assignments, and a PDF certificate worth nothing in real-world hiring.
“Don’t fall for that Kompani bro, they’re charging 5k for a Google-style internship and teaching basic HTML.”
“My junior joined a Kompani internship and got a certificate that recruiters laughed at.”
