Monkey Hangers

Name given to people from the town of Hartlepool in the North East of England. The reason being during the Napoleonic Wars (around the 1800s) a monkey washed up on the beach at Hartlepool. The unfortunate primate was tried and executed because the locals thought it was French. This is referred to with some misplaced pride now as the town's football club's mascot is called H'Angus the Monkey.

"Hey, did you hear those Monkey Hangers elected their football mascot as their mayor?"

"Well, that's what happens when you live on the wrong side of the Pennines."

hungerslut

Poor college student who regularly exchanges sexual favors for the chance to be treated to dinner; not necessarily a common slut, only when it counts. Tactics often include the hungerslut inviting the victim over and asking if they are hungry. Hungersluts are not hard to please and often suggest the cheapest food in order to avoid suspicion.

-I'm gonna invite him over. He might buy me pizza.
-You are such a hungerslut.

Hindermen's Drop Syndrome

A medical condition mostly prominent in the elderly community in which a large flatulence is expelled so violently the victim loses their footing and fall over as a side effect.

They lady who fell over at the line in Luby's to first responders that she has Hindermen's Drop Syndrome as a pre-existing condition.
