(They're similar though) it usualy comes with one season but not a second because f**k it, the animators felt lazy (In some cases it is the opposite, the animators probably drank too much coffee and animated over 700 episodes *Cough* One Piece *cough*). 1 season has around 10-24 episodes of various minutes. The Anime community (also calls thyself otaku) can vary from crazy, die hard fans to average human being. Do not get your hopes up though, most of them watch anime for the jiggly bewbs.
P.s. If you didn't watch at least 50 animes, you're not part of the anime clan
