when you and ur friend with a really curly afro on the top of her head get really bored and decided to straighten her hair but she's never straighten it before so your scared to shit. and it takes you like four hours because it's so thick and after you finish she looks like and umbrella and you laugh you shitting pants off for the next hour and a half but you realize you have to go into public and under your breath you say "shit." oops

after I straighten her hair she went into umbrella mode because it flopped over her like an umbrella

Noun: An indication that someone is on the verge of a breakdown due to stress or mental instability. This stems from Libyan Dictator Muammar Gaddafi's infamous video from February 21, 2011 where he delivers an anti-insurrection speech while holding an uncharacteristic white umbrella.

"Man! If I don't get a vacation soon, I'm gonna break out the "Gaddafi Umbrella."
