Refers to the snobby people born in Germany from American parents in contrast to those that remain humble about it.
Often a military brat.
Have delusions of grandeur that being born in Germany bestowed them divine power.

Can you believe that Am-Germ? Yapping all day about her German heritage, then gives me a blank look when I ask if she knows any places to get some currywurst.
