The term coined when a man rubs one out into his lovers eyes whilst she/he sleeps. The semen then hardens as the lover sleeps blissfully unaware of the surprise waiting for her/him when they awake.

The term "spalding" originated from an unknown source, but has become a popular name for this most beloved of sexual pranks.

sprachling

A word similar to 'snog' to describe a (usually drunken) union of two individuals which goes no further than kissing and possibly cuddling. Any attempt by either party (usually the male) to take things to the next logical stage (see 'sproochling'), will invariably be greeted with a slap by the other. Often the participants will 'sprachle' all night long without actually getting to 'sproochle', much to the disappointment of one, if not both, of the sprachlers.

A common side-effect of 'sprachling' is the deep feelings of regret (and sometimes disgust) that one or both of the participants experience upon reaching sobriety.

'Did you see those two at it last night? They were sprachling about the dancefloor all night!"

"Oh my good god, I can't believe it. I think I sprachled xxxxx last night."

Spalding Hall

Spalding Hall is a building at UHM. By acting lost and trying to find Spalding Hall, the phrase "Excuse me, can you direct me to spalding hall?" quickly became the lamest pickup line ever.

{the scene: Saturday, midday. Carrying stuff from the store, obvious heading back to dorms.}

Me: Chino, check out that girl up there, she's pretty fine, eh?

{girl is hot, but obviously older and she is clearly standing closely/clinging onto a guy that is her boyfriend}

Chino: yeah.

{walk past girl, chino stops}

Chino: excuse me, can you direct us to spalding hall?

Girl: ....Uhhh? Spalding...umm, I don't know. Maybe you could ask the bookstore?
