Perkasie

Perkasie PA is an okay place. Its got some nice skate parks, and covered bridges, some REALLY GOOD local food (I'm talking about you "The Perk" and "The Ram") but that's pretty much it. The people there are assholes though. They are not welcoming of outsiders. Don't bother coming here if youre sensitive to what people say to you. I've had the pleasure of living in this place for 3 years. Crime is second to none , and housing is nice, land is vast and beautiful, and you're next to the best place ever, Quakertown PA.

Person 1: "Yo I love Perkasie!"

Person 2: "Hell no, I know we live here, but Quakertown is much better"

Person 1: "Yeah, you're right..."

Murphy's Pedestrian-Perks Law

Refers to the infuriatingly-common "lousy timing" occurrence of your seldom encountering the usually-hoped-for opportunities/pleasantries (i.e., neighbors relaxing on their front porches/lawns whom you can shoot the breeze with on your way by, pretty girls to hold hands with and "chat up for a few", sizable numbers of discarded returnable containers, etc.) whenever you're out for a stroll or otherwise leisurely traipsing around your local area on foot, yet when you either hitch a ride with someone or are "a man on a mission" in your own vehicle and thus you can't "acceptably" stop to avail yourself of any of these assorted "sidewalk delights", the roadsides you travel along will either be "chock-full of friendlies" or "Bottle/Can City", and so you'll be mentally "climbin' da walls" at having to agonizingly pass on by all of those much-desired goodies.

It was foggy and chilly when I started out walking around town to complete my weekly errands-list, and so there was hardly another soul outdoors, but then sometime later when I was riding back again with a neighbor who'd offered me a lift home, the weather turned clear and balmy again, and there were lots of smiley-faced sundress-clad cuties strolling the walks all over town! Guess it was Murphy's Pedestrian-Perks Law at work!

Perkasie

A small town in Bucks County, PA where the inhabitants are known as "Perkasites" due to their similarities to Parasites. Most of the people who grow up in Perkasie will never leave. They will hang out at The Olde Towne Tavern, a grungy hole in the wall dive bar where people waste their nights and lives away in night after night or the young ones will just roam the streets aimlessly or loiter in parks and parking lots. Perkasie used to be a quaint, somewhat cute town but these days its filled with heroin shooting, coke snorting, bar flies and it'll stay that way until people realize there is more to the world than this town.

"Wanna go to Perkasie tonight and sit in McDonalds parking lot with our trucks and confederate flags?"

"No, thanks. I'd rather buy some shitty coke and go to the old towne where i can snort lines off the back of a filthy toilet like the rest of the Perkasites."
