When trying to improve everything actually makes life worse. The endless tweaking, tracking, and hacking that leaves you more stressed than before. Productivity apps, fitness gadgets, even parenting advice—sometimes “optimizing” just optimizes the anxiety.
I bought five different apps to manage my schedule, and now I don’t have time to do anything. Classic optimization trap.

Get the Optimization Trapmug. You "hate coded", BUT you went backed, and fixed the solution with better code (examples: more elegant algorithm, efficient use of memory, better performance, better use of data structures, easier to read and/or maintain, added comments, added unit testing, etc)

Get the hate coded and optimizedmug. People being optimistic when there's really nothing to be optimistic about. A sense that someone's positivity has no merit and is practically wasted because almost if not everything is purely negative at the time. This kind of thinking can be toxic because being happy all the time, even and especially during hardship, doesn't necessarily solve anything.
I'm getting tired of the amount of Empty Optimism that everyone around me is exerting. There's really nothing to be happy about right now.

Get the Optimizemug. My co-worker is a “self optimizer” purposefully promoting prowess over others to the detriment of those he/she views a a threat in their immediate environment.
