It 

A story by Stephen King about a creature that lives under the small Maine town of Derry. It is not a clown but a creature that we cannot begin to understand. The story is about seven kids who decide to fight back against It. These children are Bill Denbourgho, Ben Hanscom, Eddie Kasprak, Richie Rosier, Mike Hanlon, Stan Murris, and Beverly Marsh. The kids christened themselves the Losers and fought many horrors in the fucked up town of Derry.

The identification of It as a clown comes from one of Its favorite forms, Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

A person who is so selfish and self-centered he doesn't realize he has half of the girl population at school obsessed with him AND that he has a fanclub cause the ass is just so stuck-up. He is pretty much good looking, and almost perfect, if it wasn't for the molestation of poor, unsuspecting band instruments. He likes to run after black and white balls in the middle of weed and dirt infested fields with his bastard friends and either want to be gay with him or think in their heads "damn, i wish i was him." Everyone thinks he's gay, considering he has never had a girlfriend and has a little too many guy friends, one of which is almost as cute as he is. He is also a homo who thinks that his life is in the fast lane, the rich S.O.B.. His nickname is It.
