While something may be terribly annoying, listening to someone complaining about that thing is always worse.

Alternatively: The only thing more annoying than (x) is someone who can't stop complaining about (x).

Andy: I hate this snow! I'd rather live in Iraq than in this terrible weather!
Bill: Shut up.
Andy: Why? You hate snow as much as I do!
Bill: Yeah, but listening to you whine is worse. Complainer's Paradox.
Andy: Oh, I'm sorry.

When you compliment and insult someone at the same time. Also a way to break something easy to someone.

Grace: "You're not funny, Jared, but I'll make exceptions for you."

Innocent bi-stander: "Damnnnn you were just complinsulted dude."

A statement that was meant as a compliment but sounds more like a diss.

Person A; "I'm the only person that talks more than you."
Person B; "Wow, thanks"
Person A; "No! That was a compliment"
Person B; "Sounds more like a diss - a compladiss."

complislam

A remark that is meant as a compliment about one person that is taken as a slam by another. I can't believe she's yor grandmother {the woman looks many years younger than she is}. Grand daughter just how old do you think I am?{the grand daughter thinks you said she looks much older than she is} A reason to keep your mouth shut.

With that complislam I put my foot in my mouth so deep it came out my ass.
