A portmanteau that applies to golf (more specifically World Golf Tour) combining the words “wedge” and “putter”. The use of a wedge on a golf green instead of a putter.

I had a long hard breaking putt so instead of trying to the read the break, I said fuck it and grabbed my wutter.
