Textsation

When two people are texting back and forth about an important topic of conversation. Something you should/could call the person about. It involves over 160 character texts and multiple texts.

Text 1: I think we should break up
Text 2: We are not having this textsation right now.

Other: Breaking up, dating, sex, global warming, etc.

Textsation

Conversations held through texting. These are often unnecessary and would do much better if the receiving end would just be called. Often the practicing are females with nothing better to do or males trying to get into females pants.

Sometimes textsations are used to formulate plans. However this also seems unnecesary when it might take 5 minutes to call someone to make plans rather than spending an hour through texting.

On the other hand, textsations are great if you don't want surrounding parties to hear what's being said or are in a place where calling someone isn't possible.

A textsation:

555-2143: What r u doin saturday night
555-3214: Not much
555-2143: Would u like to come party at my place
555-3214: *call*
555-2143: I'm at work
...

Using a text application to have a conversation with someone.

My boyfriend and i were in the middle of a textsation when our phone went dead.

a friendly, romantic, sexual or intimate relationship, either brief or long-term, between two people whereby text messaging is utilized as the primary form of communication throughout, oftentimes due to one person's unwillingness and inability to express their feelings, unless at an impersonal level where senses, details and answers to questions and/or subject matter are intentionally avoided at the expense of disregarding and neglecting the need for sharing, giving, conveying a complete, forthright and respectful reply by other means of technology or face-to-face discussion.

My best friend ended the textationship with his girlfriend because of the many hours he was expected to spend engaging in arguments and discussion through text each day.

The art of deciphering a cell phone text message into proper English language.

The act of rendering an interpretation of an abreviated from of the written language or communication into a more understandable and proper form of the written language.

Textration

The feeling of frustration one gets when they are texting someone and the other person doesn't reply fast enough. Often occurs after more than five to ten minutes of waiting for their reply

Common situation of textration:

(Over text)

Guy: "Hey whats up?"

Girl: "Hey nothing really, you?"

Guy: "Just got home. Wanna hang out later?"

Girl: "Yeah sure, when?"

Guy: "Around 5? Is that good?"

(After 30 minutes of waiting for the reply, the frustration has set in)

(Thinking) Guy: "Come on answer back.."

10 more minutes

Girl: "Sure, 5 o'clock is good."

(Thinking) Guy: "FINALLY!!"
