Nowcaster

A person giving accurate weather information based on the present weather conditions (rain, snow, sunny, etc.) To look out the window and nowcast the conditions.

A weatherman will forecast inaccurately. A Nowcaster gives accurate weather information.

A really bad snow storm, characteristic of the Northeast.

Boy 1: Hey, South Carolina got 18 inches of snow

Boy 2: Well that's nothing compared to a Noreaster.

Nocster

A Network Support Engineer working within a NOC (Network Operations Center).

Nocsters focus on layer 1/2 outages whereas NOC Engineers focus on layer 3 outages.

Nancaster

The name bestowed upon the city of Lancaster UK having experienced the 'greatest weekend of your life'. In order for the term to be qualified then the upper levels of the 'bantmosphere' must have been reached and at least one member of the party lost. (The term arises from the use of the word Nan; a noun used to express general ladishness or to insult your own elderly female relatives in order to undermine others I.e. Suck My Nan!)

Student 1: I can honestly say that this has been the "Greatest weekend of my life!"
Student 2: I know, it's a shame we have to go back to Nancaster for some bloody lectures!

Noreaster

A coastal storm which forms off of the east coast of the United States. Mainly occuring around the winter months. Can produce heavy rain and/or snow. Characterized by its movement and wind direction along the coast.

Some of the largest winter storms occur from Noreasters on the east coast.

The winter storm in February of 2006 was caused by a Noreaster.

nockster

Being cool with a metrosexual tone, almost ambiguous to being straight or gay, and resembling features of Trisomy 21 Chromosome abnormality (Down's syndrome) such as weak phitrum, sentinel line; also characterized by asking stupid questions repeatedly such as "where is the arcade, where is the arcade?"

He's hitting the night with all his might, but someone should tell him that he is being a nockster.
