MERMANAUT

A Mermanaut is an explorer of the aquatic realm. This exploration may take the form of spiritual, physical, or mental exploration of the planets vast oceans, and the worlds, secrets, and treasures they contain.

The word is a compound of mere, mermaid/man, and naut.

Mere is the Old English word for sea. With the addition of “ma” (merma) both genders of mermaid and merman are represented. Finally, the term "naut" is from nautes (greek: ναύτης), meaning sailor.
Q: So...How come you are so into diving?

(ALSO: sailing, boating, kayaking...etc.)

A: Because I am a Mermanaut.

A kind, generous, loving, loyal, and appreciative girl. Meryan is one of the most supportive friends I've ever met. I could tell her anything and she won't say a thing to anyone! Meryan is the best listener when you want her to be. Even through the most painful of times, she will get back up and walk on. People can say all the shit they want and have instant karma for messing with the wrong girl! She's very considerate about everything. Meryan is so perfect that she's a person everyone would wanna be. Im so grateful for a friend like her.
Zoey: "I wish I was Meryan, she's so cool!"
Jenna: "Shut up, even if you were her you wouldn't be able to keep up with her personality," "she's to good for you."

The Mervin Scale

A scale derived by the English mathematician and theoretical physicist Professor Ginger Ninja, which allows students using a sheet of A4 graph paper with 1mm squares, herein called 'mervins', to plot awkward, or complex points on a graph that shows the effect of temperature on the resistance of a thermistor. There are five mervins to a 'brick' and two 'bricks' to a 'box'.

Thus, any whole integer is always four mervins away from its next or prior integer; provided that each box on the y-axis is the equivalent to 5kΩ.

Simple, really.
MiniFunk: Using The Mervin Scale, how would I plot 54?
Proffessor: 54, would be four mervins below 55!
Jam and MiniFunk: Indeed!
