when two people act like enemies, but are actually friends (i.e. the opposite of 'frenemies')
Two teachers, Adrian and Nick are enefriends. They play pranks on each other and talk about the other behind their back to their students, but then play poker together and go to each other's Election Day party.

Awesome!!! Another friend request! I can’t possibly keep track of all the “Friends” I have now but I’ll accept it anyway because I’m just egofriending so I can feel better about myself… I don’t care that I’ll never interact with this person because their feelings don’t matter to me to.

enfriend 

The gender neutral variation of "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" to be used in cases when the gender of the subject in question is either unknown, nonbinary, or purposefully omitted. Meant to be a more casual alternative to "partner".
"I forgot to tell you, but I have a new enfriend!"

"That's great! You should introduce me to them."
