Flattering Syndrome

When a person tends to exaggerate qualities of themselves to a degree that they become extremely delusional-and-at often times believe everything they’re saying is factual. Most people with this syndrome can actually show signs of schizophrenia and do a lot of “flattery self talk” to the point of losing grip on reality

I overhead Jojo one day talking at 3:00 AM in the morning as if someone was there. His conversation wasn’t actually off, but rather a bit self absorbed and one sided. I think he suffers from Flattering Syndrome.

Flastering 

A quick, single-coat plastering technique where the surface is plastered and sanded as soon as dry, in quick succession. Usually used to prep a wall or ceiling for painting. Common in renovation or patch-up jobs where time is limited but a decent finish is required. Blend of the words fast + plastering.

Mate, we were running behind, so I just did a quick flastering job on the ceiling, she'll be right once it's had a lick of paint.

"eye-flattering" is a term used to describe something that looks especially pleasing or attractive when seen, making colors, designs, or appearances easier and more enjoyable for the eyes.
