Password Reset Day

The unmistakable shitstorm that takes place when your company policy forces you to reset your password and you become locked out of all systems. It's probably better to take the day off.
MM: I can't access the VPN, my emails, my laptop and my wife is probably going to leave me because I can't message her. I think my WiFi stopped working too.
TP: Password reset day?
MM: I hate Password reset day.

Password Box

An ornamental decoration applied to software to give a false sense of security.
Locksmith on phone to Security Operations Centre: "I'm pleased to inform you that we have finished converting all your door locks to password boxes". SOC Manager: "yeah thanks, they are both just as useful as each other" *hangs up*. CEO walks in and overhearing the question asks aloud "Why haven't we made 2 factor compulsory for all password boxes yet", and then everyone in the SOC runs from the room.

Life Password

The password that you use for every website, email account, facebook, twitter, everything. Having a 'life password' is not a good idea, but everyone does it.
