Joe: You know...that one...a while back...that proved that gay marriage is evil?

Jim: How did they prove it? What were their methods?

Joe: Well...um...they...did a bunch of...um...statistics, and....

Jim: ...There is no such study, is there?

Joe: Well...um...not exactly...

Jim: So...why do you oppose gay marriage?

Joe: Well...um...because all of my friends are opposed to gay marriage, so I'm going to oppose it too!

Patriotism 

1. Someone who merely loves his/her country and believes it is ultimately a force of good despite what others may think.

2. A term conservatives identify with enough to be able to tolerate incessant liberal whining.

3. A term many liberals will whine about.

4. A term conservatives will abuse, thus pissing off liberals causing them to whine more.
