Applies to only Jeep Wrangler model. Inexplicable unwritten policy for fellow Wrangler drivers to wave at oncoming driver of said model Jeep. If wave is not reciprocated, likely due to other driver being distracted by other pressing matters or person is new owner and unaware of this policy

The Cleveland Wave 

The feeling you and all your friends in the room get when you realize that your awesome sports team is going to drop the ball again in a series and lose all hope for your city.

This feeling is similar to the one you get when you eat too much hot sauce and your stomach decides to tell you so.

We were watching the Cavs in game 5 and all of a sudden the cleveland wave came over us and we knew it was all over.

The wave is a sacred and required unwritten oath that applies to everyone who purchases a Chevrolet Corvette. The oath is agreed to upon the purchase of the vette with absolutely no exceptions.

The wave states that while you are in your Corvette, you must signal any fellow Corvette drivers with a friendly (yet extremely manly) wave to acknowledge their presence and their fine taste in automobiles.

Any driver who does not return the wave is a disgrace to the Corvette community, and just looks like a total douche.

No exceptions.

Surfing the crimson wave 

refers to when a female is menstruating. crimson means red, as in red as blood. the wave alludes to the emotional waves that many females experience when on their period. hence, riding the waves of emotion while menstruating.

can be used in a negative way. "Dude, she's so moody. She must be surfing the crimson wave!" can also be used in a positive way. "Ebony, do you have a pad? I'm surfing the wave."
