Instagram 

Actually a considerably nice app that the masses commonly mislead people about. Instagram lets you take pictures of your travels and whatnot and share it with your followers, aka the people who have chosen to see your pictures on their feed. Lots of celebrities use Instagram, which let's you see what their lives are like. Instagram has gotten a lot of bad rep for crappy filters and overusage by "hipsters" and "faggots", but it's actually a pretty cool app, one worth trying at least.

Guy 1: Dudezz, why r u on Instagram lolz???!!
Guy 2: Instagram is pretty cool, so I'm putting up a photo of my recent endeavor to a pro soccer game

I can't believe Facebook paid a billion dollars to buy Instagram; a program that makes perfectly good photos look like shit.

"OMG look at my mom's crappy old photos from the 70s... Oh, but check out this Instagram photo of me and Katie at the bar last night."

Instagram makes photos more fartsy than artsy.

Every hipster's favorite way to make it look like they take really classy pictures when really they are still using their phones. Yeah, you might look really cute/old school/vintage/retro, but it's still a cell phone picture.

Photographer: Hey man, look at this picture I took with my Canon 5D Mark II camera and edited in photoshop!
Hipster: No way man, look at this picture that I took on my phone with instagram! It's even better!

A photo-sharing platform and app used mainly for its post-processing filters and effects. Intragram's user base consists mainly of hipsters.

Instragram is the early 2010s version of the "sepia pandemic" of the late 1990s and early 2000s, when digital cameras were considered new and their users applied the sepia filter gratuitously.

There are many different types of accounts you will find:
1. An account who's owner posts non-stop edits of supernatural and then deletes them all in the next hour
2. An account who posts two pictures, switches accounts, and repeats

3. A guy user who only posts pictures of concerts and his shi tsu

4. A mom who thinks she's hip and uses every filter, light adjuter, and focus editor

5. Someone who reposts celebrities' posts and only uses random song lyrics as captions
6. A user who direct messages you 20+ times a day and doesn't even follow you
7. Someone who only posts pictures of their One Direction tickets and contest/giveaways they've entered

8. A collage student who photoshops emojis or wads of cash or wolves on all their pictures
9. A Kid who only repost with the x-pro filter
10. The "punk" kid who's vocabulary is consisted of mostly cuss words

11. The person who has 30+ hashtags and only 6 likes
