clapback queen

Noun. Slang. Someone who delivers a quick, sharp, and effective response to criticism. Not to be confused with a garden-variety diss, a clapback is deemed by most as a targeted, often viciously acute comeback intended to place someone in much-needed check.— Aaron Edwards and Ira Madison III We all love a good clapback.

Thanksgiving Clapback

A snarky retort you give to a family member during Thanksgiving, usually in response to a passive aggressive remark made by said family member.
Uncle: "Why you always in and out of this house?"

Me: "Why are you always in and out of jail?"

Cousin: "Still struggling to find a job, huh?"
Me: "Still struggling to find your baby daddy, huh?" #Thanksgiving Clapback

Pelosi Clapback

Pelosi Clapback

Applause given to appease someone who does not deserve it, but whose ego desperately needs it. A “Pelosi clapback” can be clearly seen the night of the 2/5/19 POTUS State of the Union address in response to the POTUS suggesting bipartisan cooperation and not realizing the irony. A Pelosi Clapback can be rather sarcastic and very humorous.
