Also spelt (Tronax), commonly known as ‘Tronny’ is a colloquial synonym for ‘Vape’ established by a group of young New Zealand males. A word created to dissociate any notions tied to indulging in/ owning a vape when speaking in public areas.

Originated from ‘Vapeatron’ (Vayp-ah-tron), mostly spoken with a strong roll of the tongue on the pronunciation of the R.
