(Interjection)
A highly expressive form of agreement combining the meanings of exactly and I’ve been. Used when someone says something the speaker
already believes, has already
said, has already been doing, has already planned, or suddenly realizes they should have been doing.
Commonly expresses excitement, validation, realization, appreciation, or confirmation that the speaker and another
person are on the same page.
Equivalent to:
• “Exactly, I’ve been saying that.”
• “Exactly, I’ve been doing that.”
• “Exactly, I’ve been thinking that.”
• “Exactly, I should’ve been doing that.”
Often delivered enthusiastically with raised hands, finger
snaps, laughter, or animated gestures.
