Under-Time is the shortage of hours given to an employee to do the same scope of work but in less time.
In the down economy, hourly workers are "expected" to "work smarter" and do added work and still get their regular work done as if they were "professionals" who owe the employer more-than-hourly performance.
It is often associated with a new RUSH assignment - or managers who get a BONUS for reduced labor costs.

Q) Are you working overnight with us to re-arrange the cereal shelves and move old stock to the front..we're even getting Over-Time..?
A) No, I've been given Under-Time for hanging up all the new signs to promote the changed pricing..and wasn't even given enough hours to get the regular store signs installed..

If-Asked-Don't-Tell - is a policy position reserved for the formerely-unbiased press of suddenly being "blind-deaf-and dumb" about any recognition of wrongdoing, unethical behavior, or corruption by any noteworthy liberal.
It especially applies to any politician that was ideologically (or even financially) supported by that same news media "opinion machine" - and relates to the "separation of press and state".

Q - "Did you hear about the Democrat Congressman who..?"
A - "Shhhh - we have an If-Asked-Don't-Tell policy and I can't comment on that - and I have a deadline for a Palin expose'.."
(Similar to the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy regarding sexual deviance - except that it applies to a deviation from ethics and good journalism - or both)

cross hares - (synonym= nasty rabbits) folks who respond to suggestions by the formerly unbiased press - like a bunch of scared defenseless bunnies (hares) - to anyone who dares to challenge (cross) their thinking or utter terms that they can take out of context to claim that they are personally offended - in order to exercise what little power they think they have over others.
Recent trend by some "cross hares" who claim to be offended so they can openly despise and react in anger and rage against those who they claim ...cling to their "guns" and The "Cross", etc.
Recent examples of feigned offense include terms like "cross-hairs", "gun" unless used in gun-control, "target" unless they are going shopping, "aim" unless it is something they "aim to do" against others, "cross" when used in a biblical context, the letter "T" unless THEY use it to call a peaceful patriotic grass movement... "T-baggers", etc.)
