Gerald Ford

A former football star at the University of Michigan. Gerald Ford's claim to fame comes from America' most recognizable rehabilitation center, the Betty Ford Clinic, which was set up by Ford's wife, Betty.
Gerald Ford's presidency was marked by two assassination attempts on his life. He's still alive now, so I'm assuming that they both failed.

Jim Rome

A radio show host who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Unfortunately, his version of "telling it like it is" involves constructing his opinions with the most obvious statements in sports.

For example: "Yeah, right, Barry. You're not on steroids. Your head has just tripled in size over the last four years naturally." Is that really something that listeners have never heard before?
Honestly, does Jim Rome have any fresh things to say? And by fresh, I mean new/original, not smart/sassy.

Dodgers

The players on the National League's Los Angeles baseball team. Originally, the Dodgers played in Brooklyn, where they first received the name 'Dodgers'. The name was a reference to the homeless who covered Brookyln's streets in those days, dodging the trolleys that carried passengers around the city. The nickname doesn't make much sense nowadays, unless it refers to the bullet-dodgers in Compton.
The Dodgers are cool solely on the grounds that José Lima pitches for them.

Dole

To give/deal. Can be (and often is) followed by 'out'.
I doled out slices of the victory cake to each of the club members.
