Amen Pew

A pew at the front of the church where the people who arrogantly believe themselves to be the most devout sit. They are the first to say "Amen!" in response to everything the Pastor says. Coined, or at least popularized by musician Ray Stevens in the song Mississippi Squirrel Revival.

Of course she agreed with the Pastor about that - she sits in the Amen Pew every Sunday.

The name of a road with an incorrect dead end sign where people sometimes get stuck for mysterious reasons. Popularized in the 2019 amazon.com book Not Sally and the Agents of Duck and the 2020 retro video game Nox Archaist

A cutesy way to refer to somebody, usually a child, having a bad attitude.

Slang within the gay community for a man who has a very boyish appearance rather than manly appearance.

An expression used to describe somebody who isn't mentally stable or isn't very intelligent.
