Ligger

Music slang. Origin obscure, but has been in use since the 1970's

A person who blags their way into parties, or back stage at music events just to get free food and drinks, and to bore their friends stupid with stories of 'how they met David Coverdale,' or 'hung out with members of Led Zeppelin.

Stars of three short award winning animations from the Aardman Studio's in Bristol. Featuring the adventures of Wallace, a crazed inventor (voiced by actor Peter Sallis) and his hyper integent dog Grommit. A full lenght feature film is currently in production.

Three Line Whip

A tool used in the British Parliamentry system to undermine democracy.

The term refers to to party 'enforcers' or whips underlining an item on parliamentry order papers three times as an order for all MP's to tow the party line on that vote even if the party line goes against their own beliefs and the wishes of their electorate.
