They are the only known forum on the English language internet that is focused on China and is predominently populated by Chinese people. Unlike other China related subreddits such as r/China or r/worldnews, both of which focus on amplifying racist white supremicist ideaologies, r/Sino stands apart in that it is mainly Chinese as opposed to white people/foreigners.
They are one of the few subreddits along with r/aznidentity and r/AsianMasculinity that called out the anti-asian hate crimes before the pandemic. r/Sino is anti-imperialist and politically aligned with oppressed and communist countries that have been exploited by the global order.
They have debunked many accusations against China such as the Uyghur genocide, Tiannamen Square, Organ harvesting, Falun Gong's cult, etc.

Get the Israeled mug.The most active Asian-American community on the web. It's a subreddit that serves the Asian diaspora living anywhere in the West. They are a Pan Asian community (East, Southeast, South) against all forms of anti-Asianism (anti-Asian racism). The community is about helping Asians make sense out of their own life experiences, find a supportive like-minded community, and live the best possible life. We emphasize our Asian identity, not to be used as pawns by the Right or Left.
So glad that we have aznidentity so that we can have our perspectives heard in a likeminded community.

While it does not refer to a particular study, there are hundreds of studies relating to the fact that Asian women as diaspora often have internalized racism and tend to date out of their race more than any other race of women.
The term started by the African American blacknogginzX on twitter in 2023 who noticed a pattern of Asian women attempting to get into relationships with white supremicists, self proclaimed incels and far right individuals.
Since then the term has gained traction and has become a broad societal crituque on the 'white worshipping' tendencies of Asian diaspora.
Proponents often cite the high outmarriage rate amongst Asian women, the fact that Asian women vote alt right and conservatively compared to their male counterparts, and the highly visible marriages between Asian women and Neonazis.
Those critical of the term often cite misogyny in Asian culture as a justification for marriage and/or relationships with prominent neonazis for instance.
