Get the Rocket to the Starsmug. Used to describe someone who is extremely manipulative, controlling, and self-satisfied, unaware their actions or behavior will eventually result in their own misfortune or downfall.

Get the Shotgun Treatmentmug. A very small, but usually reasonable, quantity of something. Used metaphorically it should not be compared to the actual worth of a dime.
Old Joe got by on a dimesworthy of tobacco per week. Of course, a dimesworth was nothing like the money he remembered as a lad.

Get the Dimesworthmug. A thief or a shop-lifter who instead of being sneaky or devious grabs what they’re after then makes a run for it hoping they will be able to outrun security. A less severe use of the expression refers to someone who takes something without asking.

Get the Grabbit Rabbitmug. Someone who generously donates to charity, despite scarcely being able to afford it. Apparently should a time come when they themselves are in need of charity it will be nowhere to be found.

Get the Charitable Cadgermug. Someone who has been smoked has either been taken advantage of and then discarded, or left to take the blame for something they weren’t actually responsible for.

Get the Smokedmug. To become or cause somebody to become painfully self-conscious, ill at ease, ashamed, or humiliated. Any situation which may result in such feelings. Or alternatively to make somebody or something appear untrustworthy or wrong.
