3rd quarter

Not the only quarter not to lose focus. It does no good to start a quarter focused if you're not going to finish it focused, and vice versa. Even if you're a young team without the experience, stats, or weapons of an opponent, you can still get things done if don't lose your focus.

Improving in a 3rd quarter shouldn't take focus away from everything else you're already doing.

Allergy season

The time of year it's not cold or getting cold that the grief tragedy/sympathy inudustry/media/scientists/government/ healthcare officials warn people about another wave of disease.

The grief/tragedy/sympathy tries to get people to panic the most when the weather gets cooler, cold, or when there are lots of allergens in the air, since people tend to be less certain of their health during these times. People spend money differently when they panic, and the same people in the grief/tragedy/sympathy industry know that and capitalize off it. Allergy season helps them out, though it doesn't do everyone else much good.

George Floyd trial

Something quickly being turned into bullshit.

Now they're pretending to feel sorry for and care about the witness that was in a relationship with George Floyd, so that people (the public) will see them as compassionate, since they had already tried the nobody cares about why the guy got addicted routine in court countless times. You don't care about a guy you never met, any more than the protestors who never met him before do. It's a good way to sabotage the George Floyd trial and turn it to bullshit, the same way George Floyd's killing turned relationships between two different groups across the world to bullshit.

Power struggle

A few more things on a list of things people might struggle over are North/South, East/West, revenge, have/have not, meek/bold, and the list goes on to about anything you can think of. People will say/do about anything to get other people to agree/compromise with them getting what they want in the end.

Of course the person or group would say the power struggle was about equality or fairness, something that sounded more noble or righteous than it really was, since all people know that life isn't really fair for anybody. They knew that as kids, before they got good at deceiving people to make money.

People fuck it up.

Power in the hands of someone too weak to not kill with it is no good to anybody (including the one who's hands it's in) , that's like giving a baby the keys to a car and expecting it not to get wrecked.
