testimoanial
I'd like to give a rousing testimoanial for Brandon --- that dude totally knows how to pleasure a woman!

Robert Vaughn
Can refer to two different lawyer-related people:
(1) A famous Hollywood-actor dude who would puff any law firm ("Tell them YOU MEAN BUSINESS!") on da boob-tube for a fat fee.
(2) A real-life b**ls**t lawyer of da same name as da tough-guy actor mentioned in Definition #1; apparently a lot of people are dissatisfied with him, both for his disgraceful performance and the outrageous fees he charges.

I'd always thought that Robert Vaughn was the "exclusive advocate" for Joe Bornstein until I saw him touting another law-firm in the exact same way in a TV -ad while I was visiting relatives in another state. It kinda reduced my trust in his positive words about "Calling Joe", especially since I actually DID call that law firm for assistance --- as have several of my friends --- and have never gotten any response whatsoever.

noise-alert
What you say to others in your vicinity prior to making a loud/shrill sound with the equipment you're working with; the purpose is to avoid startling them by verbally notifying them of the impending noise so that they can momentarily "brace themselves in expectation", plus it gives them a chance to either cover their ears or move further away if they wish.
Tire-shop employee, preparing to re-seat a tire-bead onto the rim: Okay, everybody --- noise-alert! (Tire pops deafeningly but nobody jumps, then they all placidly resume their light conversations while waiting for the wheel to finish being prepared.)

Murphy's Law of Accessibility
Refers to the infuriating situation of something you need's usually being at the bottom of a pile, at the back of a drawer/shelf, etc.
I have a 2--vertical-layers-deep stack of plastic totes for storing my DVD-collection, arranged in alphabetical order. It's often the case that the disc I want to watch has a title that is near the end of the alphabet, though, and so I hafta laboriously remove all da rest of da crates to access the very back/bottom box... yep, a classic case of Murphy's Law of Accessibility!

call on Line 1
I'd thought I needed to answer just a call on Line 1 from Mother Nature, but it turned out that both of my "lines" were "ringing"... I hadda take a call on Line 2, as well.

thunderstandable
Used to describe an action or idea which is within the realm of reason, given the deafeningly-noisy storm that was raging at the time.
Motorist: I would have stopped for you earlier, Pal, but I never heard you till just now --- this storm drowned out your horn till you got closer behind me.
Motorist's buddy, who had been honking for him to pull over so that he could tell him something: That's thunderstandable --- I'd figgered as much.
