Dreaded disease caused by a lack of capital. Pronounced "no-MONEY-ah", punning on "pneumonia", its symptoms are: complaining about how broke one is, loss of weight because of a lack of food to eat, and general nastiness until the next paycheck comes.

A lei made from mokihana (a plant native to Hawai'i) flowers, because mokihana flowers smell like ouzo or licorice.
When Tom went to Hawaii, the girls from the motel gave him a Greek lei.
