Dreaded disease caused by a lack of capital. Pronounced "no-MONEY-ah", punning on "pneumonia", its symptoms are: complaining about how broke one is, loss of weight because of a lack of food to eat, and general nastiness until the next paycheck comes.
A week before payday, I always come down with nomonia.
