Munin

One of Odin's two ravens. Munin is Memory. See Thought and Memory.
The whole world wide, every day,
Fly Hugin and Munin;
I worry lest Hugin should fall in flight,
Yet more I fear for Munin.

Nice Guy

A badge of martyrdom. Men who spend their most of their time whining about how women “just want to date jerks”. Oblivious to the fact that no one finds people who feel sorry for themselves attractive, much less people who blame others for their lack of success. Most self proclaimed “nice guys” are just as self-centered and misogynistic as the jerks they gripe about, they are just much more spineless. To stupid to figure why women don’t find them attractive, they conclude that in order to get laid they must treat a woman like shit.

They tend to befriend women with the expectation that women owe them something more than friendship, then get all pissed off when the women tells them she’s not interested. Often going after women who are already in relationships, they misrepresent their intentions and try to use emotional manipulation and the facade of friendship as an excuse to get closer to them and score with them.

The sort of man who will give my definition a thumbs down. :)
Nice Guy: Why don’t women date nice guys like me?
Honest Girl: Because, you have no self-esteem and you have to blame other’s for your problems.

I don't like you in that way

A nice girl’s way of trying to spare your male fragile ego instead of saying flat out that they don’t like you and probably want you to leave them alone.
Nice Guy: So do you like want to go on a date with me friday night? *man I really want a piece of that ass*

Nice Girl: I'm sorry Charlie, I don't like you in that way.
*This guy is creepy, I don't want to offend him, he might turn into one of those stalkers.*

Nice Girl

1. The self-labeled female equivalent of the “Nice Guy”. A woman who will spend most of her time whining about how men “just want to date sluts”. Oblivious to the fact that no one finds people who feel sorry for themselves attractive, much less people who blame others for their lack of success. To stupid to figure out why men don’t find them attractive, they conclude that in order to be in a relationship they must act promiscuous and trashy.

They tend to befriend men who are already in relationships (sometimes who are in relationships with other men! Or who are married!). Often misrepresenting their intentions and trying to use emotional manipulation and the facade of friendship as an excuse to get closer to the man and start a relationship with him.

2. Sometimes, however nice girl just means a girl who is sweet and kind. And thus, has no negative meaning like my definition #1.
1. Nice Girl: How come won’t you date me?
Her male friend: Because, I already have a boyfriend!

2. Brandi is a nice girl, she is always sweet to me

Father Time

The personification of Time and the more friendly version of the Grim Reaper. Typically pictured as an old man with a white beard doning a cloak and oft times carrying a scythe and hourglass. In ancient times he was known as Chronus or Saturn.

Father Time is married to Mother Earth; just as the Grim Reaper, the personification of Death, is married to Life who pictured as a young lady in artwork.

He symbolizes the flow of time and its effects. His old body is a reminder that time is the devourer of all things and that, like the sand in the hourglass he often carries, his life will run out, as all good things come to an end.
He turns the seasons around
And so she changes her gown
But they always look in their prime
They go on dancing their dance
Of every lasting romance
Mother Earth and Father Time
The summer larks return to sing
Oh what a gift they give
Then autumn days grow short and cold
Oh what a joy to live
How very special are we
For just a moment to be
Part of life’s eternal rhyme
How very special are we
To have on our family tree
Mother Earth and Father Time
