Mythical creature. Descendant of the "Eslinge". Ribidibs look like humans, they can be identified by their preferences for singing, dancing, music, sometimes scurrile behaviour and absurd fantasy. They have an affectation for swampland, reed and lakes.

a really big sandwich. with a lot of meat.

bread, cheese, ham, tomato, fried chicken, one piece of lettuce, turkey, pastrami, cheese, bread, cheese, tuna, salami, mustard, egg salad, bacon (if available), onion, cheese, bread. among other things.
i ate a tranwich the other day for lunch and there was enough meat in there to make a vegetarian jump in front of a bus.

indeed from the old french coucher (to lie down), but the word couche (n) and Kouche (v) are both present in middle english, Chaucer meploys them.(largely due to the french influence on English, obviously). this also explains the ethnic variant "coootch" which some people use. also might be a variant of coach - originally Koche, named after the german town in which it was invented.
i'm enjoying my cotch. this room is a heavy cotch.
