Counting coup

To Count coup is considered an act of bravery by North American Native Indians.

The ultimate Counting coup scenario, as told by Chief Plenty Coup: To be in declared war with another tribe and by genius stealth or of an outright brazen act to reach his enemy, a warrior had avoided death by flying arrows from afar, spears chucked while in close, even while in the death zone of the intended coup victim's now attacking and slashing knife. This is when the said warrior now slaps his knife wielding enemy on the face and then manages to flee unharmed. The red faced victim of Counted coup is now the embarrassment of his tribe.

To the Anglo-Saxon world an act of Counting coup would be considered an act of glory seeking stupidity. As an example: It would be like getting in a boxing match with Mike Tyson after having just slapped him up-side the face in the pre-bout introductions. On the other hand, if Mike Tyson wanted to even-up on the Counting coup score card, he would toy with this opponent until the last round, and then bite the ear off the side of the opponent's head five seconds before the end of the fight!
Ladies and Gentleman this is the finest Counting coup strategy and deployment I have ever seen! There is simply no recourse!

Trenched Love

The stage in a couple's relationship when it is not uncommon that they disappear for days at a time with no contact with the outside world. Hence, there is no general cause for worry or alarm. Analytically, this should mean the said couple is home and heavily engaged in consummating their love. This aspect is not necessarily the case these days. It is with today's many travel package get-away deals that this couple could have been "Trenchin' it in Cancun!"

End note: It is said that the term, "trench love" first came into use during World War I, somewhere in France.

Glittered and Twittered

If Alan Funt is Gay or coherent enough to know what Gay means, he would probably produce a "You're on Candid Camera" version of "Glittered and Twittered!"

This is a non-physical form of Straight Bashing.

Twittered is to have your name put on Twitter.com without your permission and in not very good light. Examples: An embarrassing situation, or caught with the proverbial "Hands in the Cookie Jar" while maybe..., eating them in the closet?

For the 'Glittered' aspect of this phrase, you must revert to this website's definition of "Glitter."
Alan Funt would say, "Smile, you've just been Glittered and Twittered!"

Smurffed Adoptee

A feeling "blue" coming of age adopted child, whose adoptive parents will not or cannot provide him with information on his or her birth family.

There is only one known worse situation than being condemned to adopted smurffdom. This added predicament comes instantly to mind, when recognized, is that the victim must face the world as a freckle-faced, red-headed, adopted step-child!
"I'm feeling sad and blue," said the smurffed adoptee after newly informed of his non-being status.

Splash the Zeros

Put them in the drink..., Shoot them out of the sky..., Give them a Mitsubishi Migraine that they'll soon forget. These are all terms heard during the South Pacific Theater in WWII. In this case, each one called for the downing of Japanese Zero Fighter Planes. "Splash the Zeros" was the phrase used in the movie, "The Final Countdown."

This "Splash" phrase and "These pretzels are making me thirsty" are opposite in meaning, but same of outcome for the intended purpose. See 'These pretzels are... in This Urban Dictionary' To splash the Zeros' is a privilege for the Urban Dictionary Editor who lives for the rejecting of idiotic and arcane stupidness reflected in most suggested definitions.
Splash the Zeros, I repeat, splash the Zeros, put'em in the deep blue!
