A cinema chain in the United Kingdom. It has recliners and screens a fair bit of classics via its “Flashback" program. The closest thing you're gonna get to an arthouse theatre if your area doesn't have one.

Brilliant Russian film from 1985 about a kid joining a Belorussian resistance movement during WWII to fight against the Nazi occupation. It doesn't shy away from depicting the horrors of warfare.

Come and See might be the most anti-war film ever.

An animated movie by Richard Williams (the guy who did the animation on Who Framed Roger Rabbit). He spent nearly 30 years on it only for it to be stolen from him and butchered by the completion bond company.
