56k Warning

A "56k Warning" is a nice way of telling someone they might stand a chance of a black hole opening up inside of their home if they use dialup and try to access a site bogged down with images or videos.

Basically if you're in that 16% of people who use dialup, you need to watch out for these.
DSL / Cable: HAHAHA! These videos have such a high comedic value. I'm going to post them.

Dialup: Hey! Videos with comedic values?! I want to see! *Clicks*

Dialup: Oh noes! I ignored the 56k warning CLEARLY posted!

*Black hole opens up and sucks out the persons living room*

DSL / Cable: lol?

XD

The next new "lol".

XD supposedly represents a laughing face, but yet it has no comedic value to it whatsoever.

It's used by people who basically can't think of anything better to say.

Just another overused statement made on nearly everything.
Person 1: GAH! I just stubbed my toe!

Person 2: XD

Person 1: What are you laughing about?! It's now bleeding quite badly, and I have a risk to get a bad infection!

Person 2: XD

Person 1: What in God's name is wrong with you?! Call the medics!

Person 2: XD

Person 1: *Dies.*

Person 2: XD

See? Person 1 died because of XD, over a stubbed toe. Don't use XD.

MyBrute

The newest flash game to hit the internet. It happens to be a barbarian-style game in which you spam someones email, they fight you, you get "EXP" (experience points), and so on.

This game is particularly annoying, as people create loads of links to their stupid "Brutes" on forums. People spend way too much time on this game.
Person 1: stupididiot12.mybrute.com

Person 2: What is that? Sounds like a place for sickos.

Person 1: NO WAY! MyBrute is the best new flash game that gives you zero control EVER!

Ban Button

The "Ban Button" is a hypothetical button (though some network administrators and moderators actually have a key assigned to said feature), that more than often refers to banning someone from something for some particular reason.

The "Ban Button" can refer to a number of things, whether it be a button on a forum or game that bans, or a key that bans.

The origins are not entirely sure of.
Person 1: I'm trolling you!

Admin: *Presses the "Ban Button".*

Person 1: Aww! I'm so angry now I'm going to threaten to take down this site with my bare hands yet I will not do anything because deep down inside I'm scared!

Tourettes Guy

A man who did not REALLY have tourettes, instead he acted like it for a while, then faked his death to stop having to bring shame on him and his family.

He's known to be funny, and spout random things, though it's all a big act.

It's another fad that people liked, then it got overboard.
The Tourettes Guy is alive and well.

Story Of My Life

An overused statement generally said by complainers going through a midlife crisis when something undesirable happens.
I just stubbed my toe. Story of my life.

I just got dumped. Story of my life.

I just realized I overuse the phrase "story of my life". Story of my life.

One Post Wonder

The people who register on messages boards, post one time, then disappear, never to be seen again.

The post that they post is usually a nonsensical one that only a select few might understand, but normally leaving much to the imagination.

A One Post Wonder may contain anything from smileys, the word "Hi", to the more common spam.
One Post Wonder: Hi! :D

*Leaves*

Member 1: What was that about?

Member 2: I've got no idea.
