Killer App

When at the click of a link sent via an app, someone’s digital device is virally infected or disabled, often with the terrorist sender or hacker able to retrieve the data stored on the recipient’s phone, tablet, or watch.
After John unsuspiciously clicked on a link in a WhatsApp fake member’s message, no one in the chat group anticipated that the killer app would facilitate the transmission of the Russian virus at such a lethal speed, which wiped out the data stored on all twelve members’ devices.

Covid-🧛 ♂️

When there is disagreement among vampirologists whether the bloodsucking undead are corona-proof; and if they do, what are the odds that they could infect their victims?
While vampires aren’t strictly banned in some parts of the dark world, authorities are debating whether they’d still be allowed to roam their neighborhood due to Covid-🧛 ♂️ concerns.

The Covidization of Singapore Math

When math writers or publishers in Singapore withheld or delayed publishing any new titles during the lockdown, because local bookstores were considered non-essential businesses, and in the living-with-Covid new normal, new foreign titles are being axed for being too dear to be shipped overseas due to rising freight costs and recurring global supply chain disruptions.
No one knows whether the publication of foreign editions of Singapore math textbooks is heading towards a subset industry or not as a result of the covidization of Singapore math.

Covid-22

Catch-22 during the coronavirus pandemic: if you stay at home, you have no money to feed your family and pay the bills; and if you go out and work, you risk your life and those of your loved ones, especially if some members are prone to contracting the virus due to a poor health condition.
Adios and his wife, both out of work, are in debt and face eviction at the end of the month, with the family of five trying to keep their baby who suffers from a rare disease condition that requires round-the-clock care at home instead of moving to a homeless shelter; however, if they go out to work, the odds of them infecting their little one are pretty high—they’re stuck in a Covid-22 situation.

Maskquerade

When you act as if you are a better-looking person than what you look like in real life by dressing smartly because your face mask conceals your facial flaws, or you pretend to be a plain Jane via a face mask to avoid or minimize any public stare by dressing sloppily.
Since the start of the pandemic, millions of women (and a few thousand men) have saved lots of money on cosmetics, because they maskquerade themselves so well on those days when they need to go back to the office.

Pi Futurist

A math professor who advises both undergraduate and postgraduate students which area of research on the number π they should embark on in order to increase their chances of getting published in reputable math publications, with minimum frustration and pain.
Dictator Kim is asking comrade Trump whether he’d recommend any ex-lecturer from his now-defunct Trump University, who might be keen to work as a pi futurist for the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology on a three-year contract, with high prospects of securing tenure if local researchers’ submissions grace the pages of math periodicals and journals.
