Misotheism

Misotheism (noun)

A hate-centered religion, theology, or religious ideology that invokes God, scripture, or divine authority while promoting cruelty, domination, egotism, vengeance, contempt, or sadism instead of altruistic love, mercy, humility, and communion.

In this usage, misotheism is the ideological opposite of agapetheism—a religious orientation centered on agape, or self-giving love.

A misotheistic religion may profess devotion to God while contradicting the principles of divine love through its teachings, practices, or treatment of other people.

Misotheism is particularly associated with christopretendism: the performance or exploitation of Christian identity for ego, power, status, or political advantage while contradicting the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.

Greek Etymology:

- miso- — Greek mîsos, meaning hatred.
- theo- — Greek theós, meaning God or deity.
- -ism — doctrine, ideology, system, or practice.

Distinction: Traditionally, misotheism means hatred of God. In this proposed extended usage, it describes religion organized around hatred while claiming divine legitimacy. It is not simply atheism, antitheism, or disagreement over religious doctrine.

Related words:

Misotheist (noun) — Someone who promotes, practices, or adheres to a hate-centered religious ideology.

Misotheistic (adjective) — Characterized by hatred, cruelty, or domination presented as religious virtue.

Agapetheism (noun) — God-belief ordered by altruistic, self-giving love.
Examples:

"Misotheism is what happens when religious identity becomes an instrument of ego instead of a commitment to agape."

"Agapetheism emphasizes self-giving love; misotheism replaces that love with hatred and domination."

Gonadysmorphia

Gonadysmorphia is a noun meaning an atypical, unclear, ambiguous, or developmentally irregular biological sex condition. It refers to cases where a person’s biological reproductive form is not clearly classifiable as male or female because of genetic, chromosomal, gonadal, hormonal, or prenatal developmental factors.

It is not the same as gender identity, transgenderism, or transgonamorphism. Gonadysmorphia refers to how the body developed biologically, not how a person identifies, dresses, presents, or wishes to be socially recognized.

The word is built from gonad-/gona-, relating to reproductive biology, dys-, meaning disordered, difficult, impaired, or atypical, and -morphia, meaning form or shape.

Simple definition:

Gonadysmorphia = atypical or unclear biological sex development.
Example 1:
“Gonadysmorphia refers to atypical biological sex development, not gender expression.”

Example 2:
“A person with gonadysmorphia may have chromosomal, gonadal, hormonal, or prenatal developmental differences that make gonamorphic classification unclear.”

Example 3:
“Gonadysmorphia should not be confused with transgonamorphism; one concerns biological development, the other concerns a desired or attempted movement from one gonamorph toward another.”

Example 4:
“Intersex conditions could be described in this terminology as forms of gonadysmorphia.”

Related words:
Gonamorph — biological reproductive form: male or female.
Gonamorphic — relating to one’s gonamorph.
Gonamorphism — terminology/framework using gonamorph for biological reproductive form.
Transgonamorphism — desired or attempted movement from one gonamorph toward another.

Agapotheist

Agapotheist is a noun meaning a God-believer whose faith is defined by agape: self-giving, altruistic love. It is proposed as a clearer alternative to religious labels that can be used by power-seeking, nationalist, or domination-based movements.

The word is built from agapo-, meaning self-giving love, and theist, meaning a believer in God.

Simple definition:

Agapotheist = a theistic God and worshipper religion defined by self-giving love.
Example 1:
“I am an Agapotheist: I believe in God and seek to live by self-giving love.”

Example 2:
“An Agapotheist rejects cruel, ego-driven religion and follows a faith ordered by love, humility, and communion.”

Example 3:
“Christian nationalism may use the word Christian, but Agapotheism emphasizes altruistic love rather than domination or tribal power.”

Example 4:
“She calls herself an Agapotheist because her belief in Deus is rooted in agape, not religious status or political identity.”

Related words:
Agapotheism — the doctrine or worldview of God-centered self-giving love.
Agapotheic — relating to God-centered altruistic love.
Agapotheos — a God-oriented identity rooted in agape

Philotheosophian — one who seeks divine wisdom.

Gonamorph is a noun meaning a person’s biological reproductive form, especially male or female. It is proposed as a clearer replacement for using “sex” in contexts where “sex” may sound awkward because it can also refer to sexual activity, and as a more biologically precise alternative to “gender,” which now often refers to identity, expression, or social role.

The word is built from gona-, relating to generation or reproduction, and -morph, meaning form or shape.

Simple definition:

Gonamorph = biological reproductive form: male or female.
Example 1:
“What is your gonamorph?”
“My gonamorph is male.”

Example 2:
“The medical form asked for age, height, weight, and gonamorph.”

Example 3:
“Gender expression can vary socially, but gonamorph refers to biological reproductive form.”

Example 4:
“She uses the word gonamorph instead of sex or gender because she wants a noun that clearly refers to biology.”

Related words:
Gonamorphic — relating to one’s gonamorph.
Gonamorphism — the framework or terminology that uses gonamorph for biological reproductive form.
Gonadysmorphia — atypical or unclear biological sex development.
Transgonamorphism — desired or attempted movement from one gonamorph toward another.

Praxisidentism

Pronunciation: prak-sis-IDEN-tiz-əm
Part of speech: noun

Definition:
The tendency to turn what someone does, practices, experiences, or is attracted to into an identity of who/what they are—treating actions, conditions, roles, or relations as identity itself instead of just actions (as if a verb or predicate became a noun describing the whole person).

Etymology (optional):
From Greek praxis (“practice/action”) + ident- (“identity”) + -ism (“pattern/tendency/doctrine”)
Example 1:
“Being a carpenter is something he does, not his entire essence—praxisidentism turns roles into identity.”

Example 2:
“Saying ‘I have a disability’ vs ‘I am disabled’ can be different framings; praxisidentism treats the predicate as the whole person.”

Example 3:
“She likes gaming, but now it’s her entire personality—classic praxisidentism.”

Example 4:

“She does the labor of caring for the home and family, but she rejects being reduced to ‘h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶wife’ as if that role were her whole identity.”

Pecunapostate

Pronunciation: peh-KYOO-nuh-PAH-stayt
Part of speech: noun

Definition:
A person who renounces money-primacy—rejecting the idea that money should determine dignity, moral worth, or social status, and resisting systems that make people dependent on money for basic life—not money motivated.

---

If you want, I can also add a short etymology line to each (UD sometimes likes that), or tune the tone to be more punchy/less academic.
Example 1:
“He refuses to treat wealth as proof of virtue. He’s a pecunapostate because he doesn't judge others by the amount of wealth/money that they have.”

Example 2:
“After years of chasing cash and status, she became a pecunapostate and focused on service and mutual aid.”

Lucrarenunciant

Pronunciation: loo-kruh-ren-OOHN-see-uhnt
Part of speech: noun

Definition:
A person who renounces profit-seeking as a lifestyle—someone who refuses to treat financial gain as the goal—especially the highest goal, and prioritizes ethical, spiritual, or communal goods over profit. A lucrarenunciant person is not someone who is money motivated or boastful about the things they own.
Example 1:
“He turned down the promotion because it required exploiting people—total lucrarenunciant move.”

Example 2:
“She could’ve chased big money, but she chose community projects instead. Lucrarenunciant.”
