call me sometime

Phrase meant to show indifference if another person (usually of the opposite sex) calls you, but is very much the opposite.

Means one of two extremes-
1) - Call me immediately, preferably tomorrow or later today

OR

2) - Don't call me. For any reason. Ever.

Girl- "Call me sometime, k?"
Guy- (Is confused trying to figure out of it means call me right now or don't call me ever)

Evil Empire

Reference to the New York Yankeees made by Boston Red Sox President Larry Lucchino. Called such because of their propensity to purchase baseball championships year after year.

The Yankees are the evil empire of baseball with the highest payroll in baseball of almost $190 million.

However, the Red Sox, who refer to the Yankees as such, have a payroll of almost $130 million, second highest in baseball. Would that make them the almost-evil empire? Or, how about the jealous empire?

Team America: World Police

1) - A reference to the belief some hold that America and its military police the world, sticking them in business they have no place being in and interfering with foreign affairs of other countries.

2) - A hilarious movie by Trey Parker and Matt Stone involving marionette puppets that lampoons the aforementioned defnition.

1) - "Why is Team America here again? We can handle our own business!"

2) - "I saw Team America last night. Americaaa...fuck yeah!"

weekend dad

As popularized by Milhouse on The Simpsons, a phrase referring to the father of a child who's parents are divorced and split custody of the child.

In such situations, what can happen is the mother has custody of the child during the week, while the father gets to spend one or both days of the weekend with him or her.

Phrase is especially true if the mother is remarried or has a boyfriend, hence the child's father figure during the week. This makes the biological father the weekend dad.

Kid- "Where are we going this Saturday weekend Dad?"
Father- "Stop calling me that! We're going to the water park."
Kid- "Thanks, weekend dad!"

bad beat

Poker phrase about an improbable loss on a hand of cards. Means that you started the hand way ahead but got outdrawn, thus you suffered a bad beat.

Many casinos and card rooms offer extra incentives and jackpots for very bad beats (such as losing with four of a kind).

Playing Texas Hold-Em'...

I have 2-3
You have A-A

Flop comes A-2-K
Turn is a 2
River is a 2

In this hypothetical, I put a bad beat on you since your three Aces was way out in front of my pair of 2's after the flop.

Softcore pornography either in video or image form that does not show penetration, and usually has very brief shots of both the male penis or female vagina. There are also no cumshots for either partner shown on camera. You may often find these types of videos on Cinnemax or HBO2 late at night.
